Check the photo below and could somebody tell me what is going on?
The store really tries to help me by testing the same lense on his 450D but sigma acts normal on his 450d..... man... does that mean my 550d has big time problem?

I find the circular shape thing only happens when my apparture sets at below f2.0 and anything above f2.0 is normal... No matter what ISO or shooting mode, if apparture is below f2.0, this annoying circular shape happens....
all 3 photos below has apprature set at f1.4

This photo below has apparture over f2.0 and it look okay to me without the annoying circular thing.....

Can anyone tell me what is wrong? is there something wrong with my canon 550d or something is wrong with my new sigma 50mm f1.4?

Yes, you are super correct on this subject matter. My brother in law tells me the same thing and that is why i invested in canon 550d. Great camara body.
So far I hve collected the following lenses. Other than Sigma 50mm f1.4, I am impressed of how 550d has performed.
1. 18-55mm is -> a junk lense, give it away free to camara staff after 3 weeks of usage.
2. Canon 50mm f1.8 -> great value for money. Can't go wrong with this lense.
3. Canon 15-85mm f3.5~5.6 IS USM -> super sharp at all apparture. Great lense when light is good.
4. Tamron 17-50mm VC B005 -> awesome lense to have to take indoor pictures. Sharp and fast.
5. Sigma 50mm f1.4 -> disaster starts from here.... >_<" This is supposed to be an excellent lense to compliment my 550d. However, the combination does not come out as I expected....
Love my children and every picture of them counts.
