Oops... my bad... I forgot to reveal two very important factors I like Tamron more than Canon.
1. FTM (Full Time Manual)
- this is where I love it, it is just too annoying to me when focus ring rotates on my lens. For example, my EF-S 55-250mm sucks at this. And I just found out that EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM does not support FTM.
2. Non-rotating front barrel
- This is where I love my Tamron A005 and my Canon 15-85mm IS USM the most. My first lens which is EF-S 18-55mm rotates like crazy when focusing... that is really annoying... and to be honest with it, it feels cheap in a bad way... although the kit lens is cheap in the first place.
Once again, please do not buy Tamron A005 if you have EF-S 55-250mm IS. It would be a waste of your money. Why? You might ask.

After you have bought Tamron A005, you would throw your 55-250mm IS out of the window or give it to your friend for free like me. See!!! I told you, you have just wasted your NT$6000. So, that is why I insist buying Tamron A005 is a waste of money if you have bought 55-250mm IS already.
