E-TTL的方式就是利用閃光燈發光時，先產生一道預先的閃光，
所以，以E-TTL的方式，在照像時事實上會發射出二道光的
利用這個預發的閃光來判斷正試閃光所需的力道，
而E-TTL II加上了在預閃前和預閃後，都評估所預閃的區域，
以避免產生畫面某些特別亮的地方(如物體的反光過亮)
為了這個E-TTL跟Canon的問題,貓昨天寫信給Metz的客戶服務部門._.
該部門回信如下:
please be informed, digital canon cameras are only loaded with a so
called E-TTL-II flash control which has to set on the flash unit 54
MZ-4i on manually way. For that press MODE until TTL is flashing for 5
secs and turn wheel until E can be read in front of TTL. In that case
the camera must be attached and switched ON. For that your adapter
SCA3102 must have the version M3. In regard to having an M or M2
up-dated on M3 we recommend to get in touch with our agent TAINEIN in

D-TTL as mentioned by you is only provided with digital Nikon cameras
like D100, D1x etc.
