Here's the fix for the webcam (at least on my Wind):
Go to System Profiler and get the USB vendor and product IDs. On mine:
Vendor ID: 0x0c45
Product ID: 0x62c0
This is a Sonix unit, Leopard supports the hardware but my OS X install doesn't recognise it in Photo Booth and other apps, due to the vendor / product not being known.
Easy hack - get a terminal open, get root, then go to the following folder:
/System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleUSBVideoSupport.kext/Contents
Edit the Info.plist - scroll down until you find the dictionary called 'VideoSupportRev182' - there will be two keys in there, one called 'idProduct' and one called 'idVendor'.
Convert the hex USB values above into integers and replace the numbers (you may want to take a backup of the file...) - in my case, replace the value in the 'idProduct' key with 25280, and the value in the 'idVendor' key with 3141.
Save the file, no need to reboot or rebuild kextcache, just launch Photo Booth and the webcam will immediately work.
It's slow and laggy, but it works. I've yet to try Skype but since this hack works at a system level, it should be OK (but laggy).
上次不知道哪位说iMovie还是Photo Booth不能用的,可以试一下。
