I saw a T61 15 inch model in computer fair in Taichung today. The price is around 54,xxx. Will it be too expensive at this price level? As I can not fiund other venders sale T61 14 inch model, I could not compare price with the 15 inch model.
The difference between 14" and 15" is higher monitor resolution and more power graphic card (NV 160M 256 RAM). I am not sure whether it is powerfil enough for 3D games? And is the price reasonable 54,xxx?

Graphic card> NV 140 M (128M)
It is a little weird from the configuration, between T61 and T61P. I also can not find notebook with similar specification in US website. If the graphic card is NV 140M. Maybe it is not power enough on 3D graphy.

T7700 is very expensive (300 US dollar more than T7300).
But the graphic card is not powerful enough if you want to play 3D games.
Basically, thinkpad is designed for business, not for entertainment, so the performance on game would not be good.
You can check the score of 3D mark for NVS 140.
I remember the performance of NVS 140 roughly equals to 8400.
I heard new INTEL CPU (T9xxx) are arriving on January, so T7700 models are on sales recently. As I read T61 user feedback on different forums, I found half opinions are positive and half are negative. As my main purpose is for home entertainment usage, I will prefer to purchase HP HDX with bigger monitor and graphic performance. Thanks for yours suggestions.
