The hard drive "Clicking" problem where the hard drive makes an obnoxious noise every time it parks its head. We're stuck with this incredibly annoying clicking sound until another manufacturer makes a 1.8" hard drive that will fit in the X41T (Seagate, where are you? I love my 2.5" Seagate 7200 rpm notebook drive; it's completely silent even while parking the head, but it won't fit in the X41T).
So, I thought that there are several possibilities. First, the X41T sold in Taiwan have no clicking problem(I do not believe). Second, Taiwanese are more endurable. Third, this is not the place to discuss "problems".

日前用了不少時間將X41T的系統重新建置
不使用原廠的回復光碟
重頭建置系統並且將安裝各階段分別以ghost備下來
以備往後可以視需要擇一階段復原
以下將我的步驟簡略說明
1.安裝XP Tablet共兩片
這時後注意了一下之前大家常提到的Click Noise
完全沒有這個狀況
安裝完後記憶體吃到近155M
比普通XP多出一倍
2.安裝網路驅動程式
我安裝的是無線
有線也是可以
3.顯視卡驅動程式
這部份若是不預先裝
之後安裝Presentation Director這個工具時會有問題
4.上網抓下Software Installer並且安裝
5.啟動Software Installer
這時系統會自己連上網路比對機器型號後列出建議及必要的各種驅動及軟體
在我第一次抓清單時並沒有發生甚麼問題
但地二次在上去抓就會有一個工具會產生錯誤
這個工具是Keyboard Customizer
解決的方式是把他點掉不要下載就可以了
最後按"安裝"
系統會把所有的軟體全部處理好重開機
6.重開後系統記憶體大概吃到260-280之間
至此就沒再聽到click noise(幾乎規率的發生)
但還是會有些正常的讀寫狀況
