上網時登入網站也可以用指紋
很方便
而我的m2400怎麼設定都無法出現同樣的指紋登入畫面 (vista ultimate 32 bit)
也無法有登入網站的功能
指紋辨識頂多只有在preboot與保密TPM方面有功能
實在少了方便性
因為可以用, 但是功能不完整( 還是最基本的windows login ? )
所以我不覺得是MS的關係..............我也不覺得是hardware issue
倒覺得是ESC軟體或driver的問題(我更新過dell網站上的新版security center的driver, 結果一樣)

BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION WILL FAIL IF THE COMPUTER NAME, OPERATING SYSTEM, AND/OR THE UPEK DEVICE HAS BEEN CHANGED, OR THE HARDDRIVE HAS BEEN REFORMATTED.
The authentication process includes information from several credentials. In order to provide a secure authentication, changes in these areas will cause the process will fail.
RESOLUTION: Click here for instructions to Remove all fingerprints on the Harddrive and Upek reader , re-enroll and enable the secure windows logon. For assistance, or if you have any further concerns or questions, click here to submit a Wave Technical Support Request.

Your initial email request says that you've upgraded from XP to Vista. I wonder if this might be contributing to your issue.

當然有些處理方式, 但我試了都無效
Wave網站有建議要upgrade to Vista前, 先把security的軟體與指紋登錄等先移除
因此是ESC部分的問題
我後來是重慣Vista以及security drivers與software
就OK可以使用指紋登入windows
