觀望許久，最近也想購入EEEPC 硬碟版了

依據板上有關EEEPC Linux or XP 的測試以及安裝數據

我決定使用Linux，原因就是可以單純使用就好

一些問題想請教各位:

除了原廠的Linux外，還有哪些Linux可以完全相容EEEPC，且功能也比較強大的?

如:ubuntu ?

ubuntu很快就可以完美使用了，現在只有個音量問題而已，可以去eeeuser看看，有人定制專用的kernel。

您指的應該是 eeexubuntu，我有稍微GOOGLE了一下資料，感覺上還不錯

只是，如果安裝的話，這套軟體可以在原硬碟另外切一部分出來安裝，那樣維護上問題大不大?

Sorry no chinese input method:(. In fact, i mean the original Ubuntu 8.04 with a modified kernel for eeepc, you may keep on eye on this thread:

it is almost completed, there is only a minor problem in the volume control function.
