SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- <Visual News> ASUS is going to roll out its 8.9-inch second-generation Eee PC that supports a wide touchscreen with 1,024*600 resolution and GPS function.
Running on Intel's low-cost Atom processor, it incorporated two modes of operation system: Linux and Windows XP, and each model adopted 12GB SSD and 8GB SSD respectively.
This new Eee PC 900 model differs from its 7-inch predecessor in that both it is equipped with wide screen and a speaker is moved next to USB slot on the left side.
It is expected to be available in May or June of this year, and suggested price is projected to reach 500(USD).
