Asus F8Sv-A1 & B1 model

As I'm searching Asus F8S models in the internet, I noticed that the N.America model of F8Sv-A1 (T7500 1G Ram) and B1 (T7700 2G Ram) includes the Intel Turbo Memory of 1G...^^

Althought the price is higher compare to TW... but it's cheaper than HK... the price for

F8Sv - A1 is $1349 US (around 48,000 NT)

F8Sv - B1 will be $1549 US (51,000 NT)

and it will be release on the Mid of Nov...^^

So happy to hear the news...

Intel Turbo Memory of 1G ... What is that

But what is the main diff. of F8SV AND F8SA? I don't really see any though...
My F8SA is doing good btw = )

I'm not 100% sure the use of the "Intel Turbo Memory"... but it can increase the speed of loading file and running program.... It's actually a flash memory type of Ram....

and the major difference between F8Sa and F8Sv is the Graphic Card

F8Sa - ATI HD 2600 - 512 VRAM

F8Sv - Nvida 8600 GT - 256MB

However, if F8Sv really include "Intel Turbo Memory" than F8Sv will perform better then F8Sa in normal task... since it will have 1G Flash Memory to run the program...^^

yeah that's true...but I think F8SV's graphic card is more for gaming and F8SA is more for photoshop and stuff...

If the F8Sv is using the same body as F8Sa... there shouldn't have an addition Mini-card space to install the "turbo memory"......

and I also ask abut the remote control.... since the description doesn't mention about whether a remote control (similar to the one for F8Sa) will be include or not.... I love that control.....

um... and I just realize that only F8Sv-B1 has teh resolution to 1440 x 900..... so I need to buy that one inorder to enjoy 1440 x 900......>< so expensive.... (but it comes with T7700 2.4GHz...)

yo Lucaslue.... do you know that whether your F8Sa support the Intel Virtualiation...??

我不知道有沒有支援,因為台灣官網的資料F8Sa以及F8Sv都沒有清楚註明是否支援或配備,
不過倒是我開箱的時候拍的照片有一個疑點

這是在硬碟左邊,有一個疑似可再裝東西的插槽,
不曉得是否是 Turbo Memory 插槽

包括AutoCAD.3D MAX等軟體的效果,
這些軟體在開啟軟體時都包括大量PlugIn外掛,
一般用途的話或許有裝沒裝還沒啥感覺,
但用在這類大型軟體的情況下,
如果可以提升效能的話,那還真希望可以加裝...XD
