去年（08）都只在用公司扛回來的桌面機，去年年底入手了 EEEPC 1000H 後發現效能不足以負擔 22“ 上的 1050 解像，捲 FIREFOX 時都在跳動，就有了存錢買新本本的行動。
存到了一半（約計劃 AUD￥2000 中的 $1000)，就開始了研究哪個品牌哪個型號最適合; 之前本來是看外貌型的 VAIO, 也比較過 DELL 跟 TOSHIBA, 之後看一下 GFX 卡, 才 9300M 系, 那是代表有新本本也註定與 FALLOUT 3 / GTA 4 等神作的真感官無緣嗎? 最後覺得 ASUS 的 M50/51 有不錯的 CP. 本來就以它為入手目標的.
朋友之前入手了一台 QOSMIO 18吋, 1080 LCD 配 9600M GT 真的很吸引, 只是 ＡＵＤ＄２７００ 價錢超過我的預算 AUD$2000 不少. 然後, 過了沒多久, 看到 ACER 有現金回饋 （ＣＡＳＨＢＡＣＫ） 優惠，扣掉 ＣＡＳＨＢＡＣＫ 後才 ＡＵＤ＄１７００ 而已，最後說服女王讓我以 超預算 入手了！ （本來是刷卡的，但網上商店都收附加費，就先動用了儲備金一下）

優點: 效能高, LCD 對比高，能玩 ３Ｄ，電視卡, SUBWOOFER, 預裝軟件還不錯，有 keypad, 外殼好看, 鍵也很回饋, 有 CASHBACK 活動.
缺點： 電視天線的接收力讓我看少一半的頻道， 除非接上屋內天線.
結論: CP 值很高, 是愛打 3D 的朋友 QOSMIO 外的最佳選擇。
