不用猜測不用多說，我們今天就實地來測試一下，Garmin nuvi510的防水能力，測試的地點一樣是自家游泳池，深度1.1米，協助測試的是我還在唸小學五年級的女兒小天使(Angel)。
先放在水管下沖個水，注意看圖中的螢幕是有電開機狀態，這次測試全程都是開機的狀態下進行測試，而不是泡了水再擦乾了開機。

上下移動一下

左右晃一下，在水裡這樣用力的移動，若是密封不好瞬間衝壓馬上就進水了，Garmin nuvi510看起來還很正常

我想大家在泳池一定玩過撿東西的水中尋寶遊戲，我們今天就用 nuvi510當這個寶物，電源打開直接往永池裡丟下去...還好nuvi510不會浮起來，遊戲還玩的下去

喇叭孔是一定會進水的，但是好像連裡面的喇叭都是防水的設計，USB 插槽也是防水的，泡到水裡，水也不會由這裏滲入機器內部

很多騎重機朋友看到nuvi510的時候，都不相信他是個防水機，要不然就說頂多是個防撥水，又擔心下雨時喇叭恐怕會進水，或是USB插槽進水，所以小弟做個小實驗，告訴各位：Garmin nuvi510丟到水裡都不怕了，何況下點小雨？
