下個月要回台灣, 所以想試試看裝台灣地圖(PAPAGO R12). 沒想到真的被我裝起來了...
我中文打字很慢, 所以打英文.
Assume you have the following:
WinCE-star 2.x - needed to translate chinese
You can find it in this forum
Unlock-C510-Mioskins.zip - needed to install some DLL
You can find the download link and install instruction in this forum
Papago R12 - You need both software and map.
You can get the demo version from official site and happy file(破解) here
For Map file, if you go PAPAGO.com.TW and download the "R12 PocketPC SD pre-installed" trial version, it comes with Taiwan map(fancy version), we just want the free map from here, cuz the trial version is not what we want.
1. Use the two finger hack get into winCE: Press on "menu" button and "volume up" button on the right side of the C310x device, and use a ping to press the "RESET" button at the buttom of the c310x device. Keep holding the two button through out the reset press, until you see a error message on the screen says "cannot find MD in SD". You can ignor the error messge and click "ok". Another error will pop up, asking if you want to overwrite the map, click "NO".
2. Install the "Unlock-C510-Mioskins.zip" on your C310x as mentioned here . This is needed because this files installs some DLL files that is needed to run PAPAGO R12.
3. Install WinCE-star 2.x - this needs to install through ActiveSync, so make sure you got ActiveSync installed and connected to the c310x.
4. Install the PAPAGO R12 now. You can install on main drive, storage card, or flash disk. I intalled on my SD drive cuz I got the 1GB type c310x. It will take a while (10 minutes for me)
5. If you have th 2GB versin, you can copy the map file to "\My Documents". But if you have 1GB version, create a directory "/Storage Card/My Documents" and place your map there. The PAPAGO will search both places for map.
5. After install PAPAGO R12, replace the installed "papagor12.exe" file with the "happy file". Double click on PAPAGO!R12 to start the progrm.
6. Now, PAPAGO is not fully compatibile with C310x. The Tool bar for PAPAGO will overlap with WinCE task bar, so ensure you use "auto hide task bar".
7. Once you got PAPAGo running, you will enter "MAP MODE". This mode has lots incompatibility with C310x:
- If you want to click on the "TOOLS" button, you must click on the right side edge of the button.
- And the "search", "my favorites" buttons doesn't work, they opens up a screen with nothing, and you can't find your way back to the main progrom. You will need to do a soft reset.
- On the tool bar, there is actually a "GPS" button on the right side of the bar, but you can't see it for some reason. You can still click on it.
8. First time we want to do is to click on the "TOOLS" button, and go to "Advance settings", and select "Change map". You should see a DEMO map that comes with the software, and also a "Taiwan Fancy Map". Select the Taiwan Fancy Map.
9. Now click on the right side of the tool bar, there should be a GPS button there which it couldn't display. Tab few times you should find it. Once you click on it, it will start scanning all your COM ports for GPS device. C310x uses COM2, so you will need to wait for it to timeout on COM1 first.
10. Once it found COM2, it will go into "NAVIGATION MODE", everything on navigation mode seems to work great for me. If you want voice guidane, you need to increase the volumn in WinCE control panel.

我也試著裝 C310 R24(台灣版) 在我的 c310x(美國機)上. 可是跑不動. 用 ExecutabilityCheck 查, 結果說 c310 R24 回的錯誤是 CPU 不合. 看起來 "MIOLIB_ce40.dll" 試著要換 CPU 平率可是發現不合... 有誰知道怎麼改嗎???
