I also tried this upgrade, but something went horribly wrong.
The program executes these commands:
- Switch to Binary SiRF
- Sending Update Command
- Finished transmitting target loader file
- Transmitting target S-records file
The last one never completed. When I close the program, a messagebox appears: "Cannot receive from UART".
A repair is also impossible: "CheckRepair failed".
Not a single tool is able to find the GPS-receiver on neither COM-port. I tried using NMEA and SiRF, both on all possible speeds, but all in vain.
A hard reset (switch) and complete drain of the battery neither proved usefull.
Can someone help me? Or am I doomed to send the device to Mio-tech RMA?
