If you are living in USA and want to buy the Mio C310x, you can get a great deal on CompUSA. It costs only $149.99
I got mine for $359 + tax, but got a price reduction from CC for $199 on Black Friday. Too bad I didn't know about Staples's $149 price that day.
Right now I am only considering a H610 or C320/C520 as my next toy. Many friends of mine are waiting to take over my beefed up C310x. ;-)

Mio C310x keeps being sold for less than $199, actually $189 at Fry's. I think Mio brand image has been fixed into that segment.

Lowest price every day, Mio is so compliant with Walmart's policy. Can we expect the upcoming C520 in the same price range ? Let's say $249 for a C520 with 4.3" screen and 1GB flash. If yes, I'll support Mio all the time.

H610 list price is $599 (or $549). It's still priced between $350 and $400 now.
I was going to get a H610 but for Mio's late to market. So I got a C310x instead. (And I was gonna get a Nuvi 660 before I switched my focus to H610)
Garmin C2x0 is also priced at $499 and up. I doubt they will ever sell for $199 (until next Black Friday, perhaps). For $199, a Garmin C2x0 is probably as good as a C310x. But an unlocked C310x (or C220/C520/C720) can't be beat for its diversified functions.
I bet Mio sells more PNDs nowadays not just because it is a bargain. The unlock effect plays an important part in people's buying decision, too. Remember Garmin C3x0? Those entry level units never really took over the market or we won't be getting a Mio C310x. IMHO, Garmin has lost the entry level market to Mio already.

It looks nuvi 200/250/270 will sell for $399/499/599, well below $499 range.
And history always tells us that power users only account for ant share of the whole market. If nuvi200 sells for $249 or $299, I guess most consumers will prefer nuvi 200 than C310x. For most US civilians, Garmin brand is much well known and trustworthy after all.
