Hi all,
I think this is the first WM6.5 rom for HD
Please, take in mind this:
THIS ROM IS ONLY A TEST AND A SOURCE FOR COOKERs!!
IF SOMEONE WANT TO GIVE IT A TRY, ONLY TO SEE THE DIFFERENCES WITH WM6.1, IT'S OK BUT DON'T EXPECT A STABLE ROM!! THIS IS AN EARLY BETA BUILD!!
Now, much info, expecially for cookers.
I've fixed many things but there are some things to be fixed.
The first problem is, CAMERA DOESN'T WORK, it gives an error: "Unable to start Camera. Failed to open the GAPI display".
The problem seems to be the startup animation.
Second problem: the HTC Touchflo is responsible of the "non hardware buttons" functionality, then open call button, end call button... work as softkeys if I delete touchflo. Then, for now, HTC touchflo is still in rom. I've changed some settings into registry key, but it still interfer.
For now you can see a mixed touchflo functionality, it seems like the HTC one, but if you hold your finger for a wile and then scroll, you will see the WM6.5 scrolling feature.
Expecially, the buttons functionality is dependent from "BioTouch.dll". If someone were able of to modify this file so that to make to work the buttons and at the same time to disable the HTC TouchFlo, it would be perfect.
Or we can try to make some registry tweaks to obtain this. As I've said I've tried something, but for now I haven't found a full solution.
Third problem: DON'T USE "DEVICE LOCK" FUNCTION! It's not working and if you enable it you have to do an Hard Reset to solve!
All the other things, except HTC animation and teeter that I've deleted, seem to work.
Then, please people help me to fix these 2 problems, in these way we could have a stable WM6.5 rom.
For these reasons THIS ROM IS UNPROTECTED! Chefs, you all are invited to download and help to solve these things. I hope we can find a solution!
