在xda上爬文也有很多人有類似問題，
解決辦法不外乎是轉成wma、改mp3的encode或是取消唯讀勾選，
不過目前我也都試過，還是無效(苦笑)

Just a quick follow-up, I installed the stock O2 ROM upgrade last week (ROM 1.72.206.3 (86372) WWE, Radio 2.07.51.22_2, Manila 2.5.20121429.0, no hotfixes) and everything seems to be working correctly with the Music Player.
I can now load any of my music files and the player correctly indexes them and extracts the correct album art from the MP3 file (and some have 6 x 100KB+ covers embedded in them). I've not changed the files at all, did not update ID3 tags, loaded them via both ActiveSync and direct USB to the storage card, and all worked correctly. And whilst it can take some time for the app to rebuild the library, at no time does the memory utilisation go above 3MB.
So it looks like the HTC devs fixed the software bug !
