I copied and pasted the post in the thread of ShadoWCE2 from XDA to here, so the link was "shortened" @_@... I just read a post in a thread at 01 saying that most users are "roused" only by "more functions" which I hate a lot but can't help but admit the reality...., while, as you've known, what i really care about is how "clean" and "practical" can be realized together in a rom for "performance-orientated users^^"
STK service and phone-settings the fat brothers from HTC doing nothing but taking memory for most users are "ALWAYS" removed , for instance. Besides, have the diehard HTC relics such as Power_tray, Keylock_tray and the old-fashioned Comm_manager and the sorts having been parasitizing in the system since the paleontologic WM2002 ever do any good for most of the now users? Fat chance for the question is "NOT". The new stuffs like the shipped Getting_Start along with WM6.1 and the relatively new stuffs like Wifi_tray from HTC the FAT LADY producer are either absolutely useless for flasholics or the best as pretty as an eyesore for app-installolics given the alternatives teeming with EVERY ppc forums.
How about PowerPoint? I personally dont buy it that anyone would sticks with it in the right sense considering that much more faster and reliable alternatives available all the time. However, once PPT is removed from a new rom there are always, I mean ALWAYS, loads and loads of complains and requests for its return, declaring how indispensable it is and how important a cooked rom should look like an official rom which NEVER EVER EXISTS for our prophet, respectively......-_-
Haha... the funny thing is that I don't even have a doubt that all the flasholics and appinstallolics have long tried memory-devouring apps such as Opera Mobile or HTC Album and a lot of others. Why complaining if so-called "original" is the priority-_-??
First of all, download the Droid_Chinese_Support for whatever rom you are using instead of using my tinkered version should be wiser^^"

Edited: Korand www 3.1 gave me the same experience--wifi signal was detected but failed to auto-connect and my head-free couldn't be detected at all (both cases were solved by "manually" adding related codes or devices. However, after being reflashed with the very same rom, my device worked fine (past tense is used because I'm currently using my tinkered ShadoW version^^")

The Droid version is very stable in my case, better than Korand 3.1 to be honest^^" So you might like to "hard-reset" again, or, try to re-flash it right after rebooting your PC and touch nothing during the flashing process if you are really of interest in using it or merely testing it^^"
Yet, before doing all this troubles, you might give the below regs for your PC (not ppc) a try to solve the connection problem (generally it is a tweak for users who fail to access network via PC@_@)
1. Run "Regedit" in your PC
2. Find the route: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services"
3. Add new Dword value
4. Name it as"AllowLSP" and set the value to 0
5. re-connect your ppc and enjoy

Both Vincent and Max provide users with different graphics and some more applications built in the rom, so their roms will defenitely be MUCH MORE appriciated by most ppc users according to the comment at 01 I mentioned earlier...@_@" However, what curbs me from doing that is nothing has to do with popularity but my personal style--in the virtual world I'm extremly reluctant to post new threads and in the real world almost the same pattern--too old to change the habit>_<
