Replacing whatever graphics you want directly into the folder, HTCHome or EVOUI or whatever depends on the HTCHome version you prefer, under the root directory where the graphics of HTCHome are instead of using HTC customizer saves you a lot of time and troubles.....

Neither. Incompatibility is why. HTC customizer, at least the versions I've tried, works for HTCHome shipped with HTC devices whose graphics are stalled in the Windows folder while the graphics of most of the "cracked" versions of HTCHome shared by dev masters are re-directed into the chartered folder generally under the root directory for better performance.
