ASUS unveils dual-wireless VGA Pocket PC and QVGA Pocket PC Phone at CeBIT-2004
ASUS has announced quite a number of new devices at CeBIT-2004 that has just kicked off in Hanover, Germany. Naturally, the most interesting exhibits are the new ASUS MyPal A730 Pocket PC and A8100 Pocket PC Phone.


As it was known before, the ASUS MyPal A730 runs Windows Mobile 2003 on a 520 MHz Intel Bulverde processor, 64 or 128 MB RAM and 64 MB ROM. It sports a 3.7-inch color TFT VGA display (640x480 pixels), integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless networking, and CompactFlash Type II and SDIO expansion slots.
In addition to that, the handheld features a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera. Its overall dimensions are the following (WxHxT): 73x117x16.8 mm. The MyPal A730 is equipped with a 1150 mAh Li-Ion battery (1800 mAh optional) and weighs 165g. How that for a PDA?
The other novelty is a tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS (Class 10) Pocket PC Phone ?the A8100. It features a QVGA display (480x320 pixels), one SDIO expansion slot, integrated Bluetooth, and a digital camera capable of recording video.
According to previous rumors, it is equipped with a 400Mhz Intel XScale PXA255 processor and 64 MB of RAM (58 MB user available).
At the moment it is not known when the devices will be available or at what price.
