這說法我也在美國網站看到，不過還有後續，大致是說 2年保存期限是來自 iso 9001 規範下，需要保存同批產品的樣品，同時檢驗2年時的品質是否達到標準？ 所以即時5年內不變質，商業與成本的考量下，廠商也不想把保存期訂太久.

我查過 300V 新舊款的 MSDS, 舊款的標示確實都是石化原料, 而新款的300V 確實有 25~50%的非石化原料,而且產品說明內說:使用有機配方,對環境破壞比較少,我推測就是 MSDS 內的 25~50%的成分,而這種新包裝法國原廠在瓶身上確實標示保存期限2年

美國那邊有人推測的原因:
Is there a shelf life on lubricants? Motul is certified to ISO 9001. According to our quality procedure, Motul products are guaranteed for two years after their production date. To ensure the validity of this guarantee, a reference sample of each production batch is kept systematically and checked on a scheduled basis. Their website does not say you can't use it. It says because of their procedure, they can't guarantee it. Big difference.
Very true, and most other oil companies have very similar policies.
但我個人認為新款變更為使用 25~50% organic base 的成分,可以回收, 對環境傷害小,可能是 shelf life 標示2年的主因
300V應該是197x 年研發出來，商品化也幾10年了，國際大廠，在歐美買油，忘記標保存期限是很不合理的，不過這是我個人看法，你還是照聲明做比較好
