多活塞卡鉗如對四、對六、對八等等
卡鉗內活塞直徑都不相同,想請教會因為活塞直徑較小而先跑出來夾來令嗎??那用久了不就一定會是小尺寸活塞那端的來令先磨完?或是很明顯的磨耗不均??

是相同直徑的活塞才會有前緣吃的快現象,使用大小不一的活塞直徑,就是用來補償偏磨耗.

As the pads wear down Mike they take on a wedge shape rather than wearing evenly.This is due to the fact the pad leading edge does more work than the trailing edge and the problem becomes worse the bigger the pad. Too combat this some manufacturers use different diameter pistons to vary the clamping force across the pad to try to make the trailing edge work harder and therefor even out the pad wear, this is important in endurance events as obviously too many pad changes renders you uncompetitive and not so much for the road. Tarox fit two sets of pads to each of their big calipers so you get four pad leading edges and shortish pads which I like a lot.
