1. X3 has bigger interier space, although the exterier size is smaller. the trunk and back seat space is very small in FX35. ( i think FX trunk space can only fit with 1-2 set of golf clubs, X3 can fit with 3-4set)
2. Resale value... the X3 will have MUCH higher resale value than FX35. so the cost of ownership will be quite close.
3. Tax. you can save quite a lot tax each year with X3.
4. if you like engine sound. FX's engine sound is very laud. (personally, i think it is too laud!)
5. suspension, don't choose "sport suspension" on X3, as it will make your ride very harsh. the original suspension is hard enough.
6. you can get 2.5L with all the options or 3.0 with less options. it's personal choice. from 07, you can get comfort seat on X3. i like comfort seat very much. :)
