這是有問題的, ESP能在車輛瀕臨失控時介入, 利用煞車或是降低引擎動力來挽救失控現象, 當車輛動態已經超過ESP能挽救的範圍, 當然事故還是會發生, 但發生事故的初始條件是已經被ESP修正後的條件, 絕對和沒有ESP的失控初始條件完全不一樣, 學過控制系統的人可以將車輛失控視做一個不穩定現象, 所謂的不穩定也有條件, 並不是不穩定之後就都一樣, 而不穩定現象的發生, 以及後續會怎麼變化, 都和事故當時的初使條件息息相關, 而ESP藉由外在條件控制車輛可能的不穩定現象(失控), 即使無法將車輛不穩定現象拉回, 也能改變車輛動態的事故條件而降低事故的破壞程度, 自然也能降低單一事故的死亡率, 而這也是美國要求未來車輛要納入ESP為標配的原因, 上u-car輸入esc或esp就能查到相關數據了
所以版主第一個問題答案是YES!

以一般的國產車,如果把偷掉的ESP +6氣曩配上去

不過連安全氣曩都不願意配了
建議無能的車廠,把防撞鋼樑,可潰式方向盤,後座安全帶,GOA車體也免了
通通拿掉,這樣可以省下$$更多........

Basically, ESC reduce the # of incidences of singel vehilcle TA's by giving the drivers more control over their cars; in the hopes that they will either regain control or at least keep their cars on the pavement.
Whereras a vehicle that has already been involved in a TA, the ESC can do jack squat...
The thread owner asked if ESP equipped vechiles will reduce fatality rate...and the answer is both yes and no. Yes, it will save your ass if you car ever slides out of control and you want to steer it back on-road, but if you found yourself heading towards a pole at 80Miles/h...heck, pray...(unless one can manage to slip by the pole, then ESP would be considered useful)
There are a billon factors that may affect the outcome of a crash, both direct and in-direct. The fact that ESP gives a driver more control over a vechile in the event of a skid reduces the chances of the vehicle running off the pavement, thus minimizing the possibility of a roll-over and ultimately higher survivability.
I dont recall doubting NHTSA's stats, the fact is how they interpret the numbers that raise concerns. Take STAT101 and you'll know what I'm referring to, the skew factor is simply too easy to manipulate.
but that's just my $0.02...a non-believer of electronic controls when it comes to cars *shrugs*
