The MP3 Conversion Tool can be used to convert non-DRM protected ATRAC® format audio files stored in your computer to MP3 format audio files.
Important Notes
1. Audio tracks purchased from music distribution services on the Internet cannot be converted to MP3 format.
2. When converting ATRAC files to MP3 files, the ATRAC files are not automatically deleted. There is a user selectable option in the conversion tool to delete the ATRAC files after conversion.
3. OpenMG™ Secure Module must be installed in your computer. If OpenMG Secure Module is not installed on your computer, an error message will be displayed instructing you to install the latest version of SonicStage software.
4. To ensure that no other program interferes with this utility, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
Download and Usage Instructions

2. Download the MP3CONVERSIONTOOL.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the MP3CONVERSIONTOOL.EXE file to begin the conversion process.
4. At the "MP3 Conversion Tool" window, click "Next".
5. Click to select "Find all ATRAC files in My Computer..." or "Convert all ATRAC files in the selected folders...", and then click "Next".
NOTE: The second option allows you to convert files in selected locations other than "My Computer".
6. At the "Select the save folder..." screen, select your conversion options and then click "Start".
7. The Conversion Tool searches for ATRAC format files and converts them to MP3 format.
NOTE: Depending on the conversion options selected, and the number of ATRAC files to convert, the conversion process may take a while.
8. At the "Conversion Completed" screen, click "Finish" to close the Conversion Tool.

ATRAC是個好格式但是最後卻被SONY自己搞砸...一開始強制轉檔時加入OpenMG的保護還限制3次傳輸限制就是個錯誤,這些雖然後來都取消了但是卻大勢已去,網路上分享的大部分都是.mp3卻很少人分享.oma.SONY應該多學學微軟,先睜一隻眼閉一隻眼把消費群眾養大然後再來抓盜版.
