I finally had some time to try the corning cable tonight. The experience was not great, I could only get it to work with one computer/DAC combo. This thin seems to be incredibly finicky.

It was a different story with a regen. With the corning plugged into a regen, then to the DAC with the adapter I was able to get it work with all DACs and computers.

The worst sounding computer I have is my main engineering computer that I do board layouts, simulations, compilations etc. This normally sounds pretty bad. Even with a regen it is not great sounding. But the corning in front of the regen changes all that, it's an amazing transformation. I couldn't get the corning by itself to work on that machine, so it is a little hard to compare.

On the "good" machines it is less of an improvement but still a significant improvement compared to the Supra cable (driving the regen).

So I have to say that the corning is a very touchy device to use, with the regen it is much more universally applicable and seems to work wonders. The combo took my unoptimized "big iron" that normally sounds terrible and made it sound as good as the tweaked sources. To be fair the regen with a Supra cable made a big improvement, but the corning with the regen took it all the way into something very special, which I didn't think was possible with this computer.

Now if this combination can continue to work after more than a few days, we will really have something.

以我感覺到的話: 全面提升 無論是細節 三頻解析 通透感 背景黑 音場大小 動態等

你只需要考慮你習不習慣這個聲底,完全不用考慮等級夠不夠的問題

舉例:如果銀線是偏明亮輕快 銅線是偏樸實紮實的話 這條線我會覺得居於中間聽感

你也可以當作他不帶甚麼特別的個性,前面給的老老實實給後面

當作白開水也行,但是我不認為這白開水不好喝,反倒有甜甜的感覺

不過度活潑(康康聽習慣了以後我覺得白金就活潑了點w) 不過度沉悶

三頻沒有特別搶眼的部分,分配的滿平均的,一接上去層次更豐富了點

我聽到吉他的泛音就知道回不去了,RUN開後水分歸位聲音就很順耳好聽.

整個聲音不死板,滿合我的口味的.

換到大編制的古典樂, 跟白金比音場高度明顯較高,左右稍微再寬一點

尤其45度(眼睛正前方為0度 左右耳為90度)方向的細節塞得滿滿滿 WOW

整體有種坐在音樂廳 中間偏前,稍微抬頭欣賞的感覺,好巨大的一面牆.

縱深清楚的知道各樂器遠近的感覺,樂器的泛音真的是更上一層.

以流行樂來說人聲位置沒有刻意拉近拉遠的感覺,但是如果需要補拉近不適合

要韻味不行,但不是無感情死魚般的唱法,算是幫你加強滑順感.

個人聽男聲 女聲 我都覺得滿搭的,端看你系統表現搭配如何來修飾聲音了.

1. 康康線=> USB線 VS 轉接頭 => DAC
當初是接康康=>白金就覺得有差了 但改成康康=>轉接頭就知道又更好了一點
所以建議後端不需要用線(可能受到干擾) 上轉接頭就好

那轉接線搞不好也是便宜貨
