Honestly, you will have a better chance of getting others to respond by asking your question in Chinese.

From what I've heard, SCL5 is Shure's professional line while SE530 is their consumer line.

SCL5 has two drivers while SE530 has three, and hence it is more expensive than SCL5.
However, it is the other way around in Taiwan; SCL5 is actually more expensive than SE530.

Both of these IEM have warmer sound signatures and accentuated mid range, but reviews and user comments showed that SCL5 fairs better in instrumental music while SE530 is superior in the vocal department.

And yes, SE530 is newer than SCL5, but not by no means better.
It depends on the type of music you listen to.

Lastly, I am not a grammar nazi or anything, but I really think it is a polite gesture to other English speaking forum browsers to use standard English instead of Taiwanese English. Seeing "high hand" makes me feel like banging my skull against the wall.
Off-topic: I used to cringe when I see any sort of shorthand or grammatical mistakes, but you know, people will just say you and I got a superiority thing going on, and I got tired of that. Live and let live. XD

I think it is one thing to be condescending and a different matter when it comes to forum etiquette. I can handle shorthands fine but for some reason, blatant use of funky English (I mean, come on, a grammatical mistake is "I goes to school". Stuff like "people mountain people sea" doesn't even classify as a grammatical mistake; it's just way out of the league) sets me off.

Plus, I did try to be helpful instead of being a total ass.

But seriously, if the OP tried to post something like that on forums like headfi., I don't even want to imagine the sort of ridicule he would face.

At any rate, we have derailed the thread too much. Let the audiophiles take over from here.
