小弟以前把cd匯入itune時
全都換成wav檔
但是檔案實在太大
最近硬碟實在不夠用
想請問
有什麼方法可以把我所有音樂全都轉成apple lossless
我知道itune裡面可以轉
但是他原來的wav檔跟轉完的apple lossless檔同時存在
變成我得自己去刪掉幾百幾千的原先wav檔
實在不是很有效率
希望板上的朋友能幫忙解答

This is not the right way to go.
What you suggest will cause the iTunes database contains both the WAV set and the Apple Lossless set to exist.
There is an easy way to do this whole thing.
First, just select all, right click convert to Apple Lossless.
After the Transcoding is complete, you will see both the WAV set and the Apple Lossless exist in your iTunes database.
You may simply let iTunes to sort and list music with a property that can separate the two sets of files.
For example, if you have playback every WAV in your database for at least one times, you can let iTunes to sort your music according to their playback count.
Since all of your Apple Lossless that has just been converted would have a playback count of Zero, you may just delete all the songs that have a playback count greater than one.

他是把原有的 wav 都移到新的資料夾, 讓 iTunes 的 Library 空出來,
再把 wav 匯入, 然後轉檔
這時新轉好的 Apple Lossless 檔就會建立在原來 iTunes Music 資料夾裡頭
已經轉過的 wav 資料夾就可以刪除了!

What’s the point for deleing your entire database and import the songs inside?
You would bring extra trouble to the process because you would loss the playback count to distinguish the Apple Lossless songs from the original WAV songs.
The key point is that deleting the source folder would NOT delete the entries within the iTunes database.
You would sill have to delete the entries yourself.

不只，因為wav 檔沒id3 tag，原先iTunes裡wav檔的曲名、藝人、專輯名等資料是存在iTunes 的xml library，只要這堆wav 檔從iTunes裡刪除或移動存放wav 的資料夾，這些資料將消失殆盡，完全會不知道這些檔案的歌曲名稱...，重新再拖到iTunes裡也沒用。
方法，直接在iTunes裡將所有wav 檔轉成Apple Lossless，之後再按Kind (編碼種類；Edit>View Options>Kind) 排序，將所有wav 檔從iTunes裡刪除，然後用搜尋(如果是Windows 去你存wav的檔案夾尋找 *.wav) 再刪除實體檔案即可。
這樣應該只會損失撥放次數，其他資料會完全跟原來的一樣。
