統一充電(MicroUSB) vs Wireless charging(induction)

Anyone know what is wireless(induction) charging? My friend told me this technology is developed recently.

I know induction charging is I have to put my phone on the charging pad. And its efficiency is worse than wire charging. It is more expensive.

which one will you prefer?
