誰能給我個研究方向？

各位前輩大家好，

小弟不才，是研究社會科學的，國外有個朋友（女性朋友）
那天問了我一個問題，她說，她要申請一個Microsoft提供的計畫獎學金，計畫要求方向如下：

To be eligible you should have experience related to graphics.
The project requires the investigation of how to adapt multimedia material (text, 3D graphics, images, animation, maps, videos, sound etc.) for effective usage in a collaborative environment via mobile devices. The usage includes navigation, modification, communication, interactive display, data/information integration, etc.
In order to devise appropriate techniques for these purposes, you will need to understand how fundamental graphics/multimedia algorithms work.

我想這個獎學金計畫應是要求申請獎學金的人，必須以如何整合多媒體資料在mirosoft行動平台上使用為主，寫一份研究計畫書吧。

我的朋友問我，台灣人電腦這麼厲害，能不能告訴她一個與上述計畫要求相關的，她可以試試看的研究方向？ 也就是說，多媒體在行動平台上的軟體應用，未來的發展趨勢為何？

各位前輩，如有此道中人，能否指點一二？
