I cannot agree with you view point.
a PCMIA data card has advantages over the method you mention.
For example, my school doesn't allow student bring their cellphones back to school.
Secondly, connecting to a bulky 3G cellphone with a USB cable is very inconvient for me.
Bluetooth? It spends more battery for both the cellhphone AND the notebook itself.
By the way, Bluetooth is kind of slow. Example? Try V3's bluetooth, 4KBytes/sec
Totally cannot handle 3G's data speed.
And with 3G networks are going upgrade to HSDPA in 2006, Bluetooth is a bottleneck for it.
Using a PCMIA card, I just have to plug it in may be a VAIO T-37GP, then go ahead.
I don't want a dragging a piggy cable tail.
I don't see the point for 浪費一個門號
What's the difference for having a Voice Notebook + another DATA only number?
You pay the same price.
A voice number + another data account ony, for example 775 for FarEastTone
Or a single number with data plan?
By the way, with a Panasonic T4, 12 hours of battery, even with the PC card, I still got 11 hours or 10. Can a z800i's battery last that long?
I debut.
