早在一月中我就已經買了iphone了
那時候並沒有想要使用AT&T的系統
想說破解之後繼續用我的T-mobile
也在ebay上買了貼片了
哪知道那個貼片不是所在地不是在美國
而是在中國大陸
死阿六騙我在美國
剛好那段時間大陸淹大雪
貼片在廣州呆了一個星期多才寄到
明明廣州應該不會淹大雪才是啊
後來終於盼到了貼片
也破解成功了
上網找T-mobile的Data plan
阿咧...
真的有夠貴的
居然要USD.29.9
我的月租費也才39.9
怎麼算都划不來
想說那用AT&T好了
之前不用AT&T的原因有三個
一個是我沒有SSN
要繳保證金500
手機都不用400了
保證金居然要500...
另一個是保固問題
沒有開通AT&T的號碼
apple不保固iphone
照apple的產品看來
莫名奇妙壞掉的機率還蠻高的
另一個是大家都知道的綁約2年
用不到2年要被扣違約金170幾
後來在網路上查詢有prepaid Plan
只要輸入特定的錯誤SSN
AT&T system會跳到prepaid的頁面讓你選擇
一開始我也都很順利
直到全部完成後...
居然跟我說我的process需要時間去active
又等了一個星期一直沒active
不得已只好用我的爛英文去跟AT&T查詢
一開始AT&T不知道是不是聽不懂我在講啥
一直叫我去換一隻

後來拜託室友幫我打去問
結果從service center 轉到了 prepaid department 又轉到了 bill department 又轉到了 apple
他們的結論是...
叫我去換SIM card...
嗯嗯...
所以我又連續換了3張SIM card
換到第四張的時候
AT&T的主管主動打來"關切"了
努力的想要阻止我們換SIM card
要我們去指定的AT&T store
說那裡可以幫我們active iphone
可是剛好隔天又下大雪
懶的跑這麼遠
又到了家裡附近的AT&T store
換到了第5張SIM card
裡面的人跟我們說這是他們最後一次給我們SIM Card
下一次就要charge我們USD.25
阿明明就是你們的問題
還敢charge我
然後他又提出了別的方法想讓我們active
回到家再試一次
還是失敗的
當天晚上又接到了AT&T關切的電話
要我們一定要去指定的store才可以
隔了兩天
我們去了那家store
裡面的人聽到我們的來意
傻眼了
他說他沒辦法
然後他打去他們的service center
又等了半小時才接通
說到最後居然叫我們去apple store去升級"某些"軟體
他也不知道那個"某些"軟體是什麼
隨後我們馬上殺到了apple shop
apple的人聽到我們的來意
" Is AT&T guy stupid? "
他說他們沒辦法幫我們開通
這不是手機問題
他也沒有"某些"軟體可以升級
早料到apple會這樣講了...
光是這樣子耗
也早就超過iphone的 return date了
直到今天
覺得實在不想跟他們耗下去了
我的iphone已經當磚頭快一個月了
就跟朋友借了SSN看看能不能開通
因為其實prepaid的paln 跟 regular真的差很多
沒想到...
磚頭復活了

所以當然要把戰利品給大家看看

You make it too complex.

1st) You don’t even have to order that Turbo SIM. Just do it in the Software way.

2nd) And even the SIM IS in the U.S., it could also takes up to 7 days if the shipper uses GROUND SHIPPING.
Especially when anumber of major cities (major hubs of the logistics companies) in the U.S. also experienced Snow Storm during the past few weeks.

2nd) T-Mobile’s Unlimited EDGE Data Plan only cost $19.9 ; the $29.9 plan includes unlimited T-mobile Hotspot (Wi-Fi) access also.

3rd) AT&T’s Pick Your Plans (Prepaid) are much more expensive than their regular plans (and T-Mobiles).

4th) If you plan to use AT&T Prepaid Plan, you should visit an AT&T Store directly to activate your plan avoid troubles. You entered an Invalid SSN (999-999-9999), nobody can guarantee the activation system will works. After all you are entering Invalid Information.

P.S. And please do not use that kind of call sign for PRC people. I feel uncomfortable with that.

He is talking about 4 weeks ago, you must need a trouble sim or whatever it call to unlock iPhone v1.1.2.

4) I don't think AT&T have a prepaid option for iPhone.

ATT's iplans are not that expensive but their reception is horrible in NY...

ATT sim card worth $? hahaa...I have 3 extra here, let me know if you need one.

1. That is correct the software crack was not released until about 3 days ago and the guy who made it is still making improvements on it. So without turbo sim there will be no way to "software" unlock your iphone 4 weeks ago. (Assuming he purchased it from a apple store with the new 1.1.3 not from ebay or retailers).

But I do agree with you on everything else. The data plan for tmobile is $19.99

I think AT&T has prepaid plan for iphone, because there are many articles about iphone prepaid plan on google.
Besides, the AT&T guys didn't say iphone has no the prepaid plan, and they try to active my iphone for prepaid plan. If there is no prepaid plan for iphone, I think they should tell me to pay the deposit first.

I think AT&T reception is not good in Boston.

I don't want the SIM cards.

If you want make AT&T bankrupt, you can say your iphone has problems and need to change SIM card and the guys will give you it without any fee.

No, it isn't.

It's $19.9 for all smartphones.

And there’s one more thing,
T-Mobile allows Tethering. AT&T’s $20 iPhone Data Plan does not.

We are not suppose to discuss Unlocking here in Mobile01.
But on Jan 18, Engadget already report something about George Hotz and 1.1.2.

Anyway, Congraulations that now you have your iPhone up and running.

But we didn't post any method or web regarding "unlocking".

I don't remember when did Engadget has report that but the software didn't come out until few days ago.
