目的是希望Apple的展示與比較能夠更"誠懇與中立"一點
不過這應該不是這種產品發表會使用的方式
要誠懇與中立的數據比較與探討
通常那是一些購買指南書籍或是網站的事情
以廣告宣傳手法而言
Apple這種做法算是成功的
而且他們也很有這方面的經驗
目前iPhone的總銷售量"才"600萬隻
他們找目前市場佔有率第一與第二的"品牌"來下手
可見他們的強烈企圖
至於他們拿一年前發表的機器來比較
其實這也是"精心設計過的"
另外兩款機器已經在市面上流通一陣子了
表示有許多人都已經有使用經驗的
而且在外面的評價應該仍是相當"高檔"的機器
尤其是會購買另外那兩款手機的人
應該也是iPhone的潛在客戶
所以拿這兩款機器來做比較
正可以打入那些使用者的"使用心理與感覺比較"
覺得我現在用的這麼高檔機器
這iPhone還要比我的機器更好...
同時也可以讓沒有使用過或正在考慮選購那兩款機器的"潛在客戶"
轉而選擇iPhone
最後其實Steve Jobs用這張圖片的另外一個目的與重點,或說是"梗"
是最後要讓觀眾看清楚其他兩款"高檔智慧型手機"顯示網頁的不完全
而iPhone則是完整呈現
用最後的這個"梗"(嘲笑那些號稱高檔智慧型手機,不僅僅速度慢,同時顯示出殘破不全網頁)
讓觀眾哈哈大笑
那才是Steve Jobs的專長與厲害的地方
這次他也要來同一招
市場上賣的最好的手機應該是中階的手機吧，他的目標應該就是這了
中階的價格，高階的性能享受，應該很多人會買iphone 3G來用看看吧

Talking about the price, $199 + 2 year $30 data plan (voice plan excluded) = $199 + 30 x 24 (not including tax!) = $910 is not cheap at all. I could buy a refurbished ATT tilt for $150 (new ATT tilt is only $450) w/ two year voice contract only, no need to have to pay $30 data plan, or I could use the $15/mon media net unlimited plan)

The Tilt is going to look bad if the Pocket IE is used for comparison.
I guess by then someone might still scream for not using Opera in the comparison (which is a commercial software)

I am not sure about the iPhone 3G since AT&T might have new policy.
But as for iPhone 2G, the EDGE plan is NOT a must. You can remove the data plan on AT&T site anytime.
Plus, Media Net has its limit. It’s not using the native browser of the phone nor it allows full Internet access.
It’s not the kind of package that equals to the phone data package.
And as for refurbished good, the iPhone 2G was available for $249 too. The iPhone 3G will have refurbished unit once the returns generated is enough.
