最近從Dell Small Business上買了一個2005FPW，20.1' 的LCD顯示器。
但是看到網路上的討論後，發現自己也許犯了一個大錯誤，那就是：
2005FPW 雖然和2001FP一樣，都是20.1'。 但是，一個是1680*1050(寬螢幕，比例是16:10)，而另一個是1600*1200(普通比例，4:3)。
2005FPW比較新，但是是寬螢幕。它的問題聽說比2001FP還少了很多。
2001FP比較舊，但是比較大，和PC遊戲應該也比較相容。但是相對的，它的問題也比較多，規格也沒有2005FPW好。
有很多人提起，2005FPW比較適合用來看影片；但是在下不常看影片，只看動畫。
也有很多人反駁，說現在也有很多遊戲支援寬螢幕，而且寬螢幕在未來是主流。
我在想的是，既然我要接一個電視盒玩PS2的話，哪一個顯示器會比較好？
我的電視盒支援640*480，800*600，1027*768，以及1280*1024。

可能會在拆封以前就拿去換一個2001FP吧‧‧‧不知道。
希望在01的各位提供意見。
IMO if you want great PS game performance you will need a very very good TV BOX to do that rather then LCD and S Video is also a must.
Anyway I hope can see you review no matter which unit you purchase
Personally I don't really have a big preference over normal aspect or wide screen. It's just that I am worried about screen stretching and stuff like that....things may look bad.
Many users online have reported extreme satisfaction regardless of the spec difference between the 2 units. However, since I am going to be using my new monitor for both work and play, I want it to be worthy of the money I pitched in.
Although 2001FP have many problems upon it's first release (screen door effect, etc...), Dell seemed to have addressed many of the issues with later revisions.
2005FPW also have problems too.....Again, Dell "fixed" them with newer revisions too.
Bottom line, I think both of these 2 monitors are a great choice no matter what I pick. It's just that 2001FP has more real estate with its traditional aspect ratios, while 2005FPW seems to have a better panel overall (since it's newer).
Who knows.....
I'll try and do a review when I get the stuff. Probably have to return them due to dead pixels or backlight leakage anyways...
Considering 2100FP is 1 year old model, I think it is better to choose the newer model 2005FPW if the price is similar.
Or you may consider the latest model 24" 2405FPW if your budget allowed. In US it can have lowest price of US$860.
