umm.......when my firend phones me, the phone won't show the names(ID) but it will only show the numbers??
i use x70 be4 and it does not have this problem...
does anybody knows why??

Perhaps,there are two names direct to the same numbers
You can check your phone's Contact to find out what's going on.

um, there are not different names direct to the same number.
is it possible that the sim card is too old??
when my firend phones me, i have to save their number. That way, next time the ID will appear. Very weird
Even if i create a new contact, and phone my own phone from that contact, it still wont show the ID??

I don't think it's the problem of SIM Card.
Basicly,the priority Contact of S60 system is from the phone not the SIM card.
So I suggest you upgrade the version of your phone.
Maybe it's the bug of X70 and new version may solve this problem.
