pantech G-500 , how to add the animation wallpaper ?

i had tried to upload the animation wallpaper to the phone but it can not have any animation effect in the front page........... my animation file is *.gif .... when i open it in the normally way , it can work , but as putting it on wallpaper , it just look like the picture wallpaper ,wat i should to ?
the original software, which is given buy the producer, have not given the 128x128 animation wallpaper function ..................
