i don't really think tat have any software or hardware can change the jap phone system into chinese~
otherwise a lot of people in taiwan won't worry bout the language problem.

Actually, what i meant was the usual input the stores did for them. I thought they could have some chinese-input(not the full one,with some words still missing ) being installed? (ps: forgot to state for sms typing)
Btw, where are u studying now? which course?
