我的手機是586W，傳個MP3都沒空間放，有辦法更改預設的路徑嗎?
Back ground:
By default, you can only success in receiving file half the size of your available phone storage, be it BT or IR. Example: free 10Mb, can only success in receiving 5Mb, for those of you who have only around 6 Mb left, you can't even receive a standard complete MP3 song! sad.
Work around:
First, create a folder in storage card and name it anything you wish. I name it "Received"
Next, run your registry editor, open up
HKLC\System\FileSys\TempPath
Edit the Value data and point it to the new folder you've created in your card,
For my case: \Storage Card\received
Reboot.
Now all temp files, including received data will be send to storage card\received folder.
Now after you have received file by BT or IR, you will be asked to save it, DO NOT DO ANYTHING!!
Press home key, start Resco Explorer 2005(I am using V5.30)
go to the folder you've created, highlight the file which you just received, press action>Properties, uncheck hidden and system file, and move it to other location, THAT'S IT
A bit troublesome, but I guess worth it. This way, the file size you can receive by BT and IR is up to the available storage card size you have!! and battery ofcause
Please post any other simpler way you can find,
I am using Dopod 577w app unlocked.
P.S, for small file, just save normal, it will still go to the default folder, My Documents in the phone memory.

Been using this method for about 2 months now.
Yes, there are some unknown (at least to me, haha) sys file and tmp files in that folder on card from time to time, I just delete them, and as far as it goes, I don't feel any impact to the system operation.
Thus, I believe we can safely revert back to original without any performance hit.
Any better way? Please .... Some one?
I really find this method too troublesome
but this the only way I happen to know
