[開箱照] Hyperdrive SPACE 超高速活動相簿/隨身硬碟？

First things first, I've decided to write this in English because my Chinese can be hard to understand sometimes.

I've gather so much information from this one website that I've decided to make my first contribution with the Hyperdrive SPACE portable storage device (not yet sold in Taiwan).
在Mobile01收集到很多資料，終於有機會跟大家分享台灣遲早會賣的Hyperdrive SPACE.

Through work, I've ordered 5 of these puppies directly from Hyperdrive's website about a week ago. After some 800 dollars, USPS shipped it directly to our office.
因為工作需求，我上禮拜直接從官方網站定了五個。將近27張小朋友之後，米國郵政局把它直接寄到辦公室。

Here's the stuff I used:我用了以下的器材：
Sandisk Ultra II 1GB CF (967.4MB full)
Sandisk Extreme III 2 GB CF (1.89 GB full)
Transcend 150x 2GBSD (983MB, NOT full, 未滿)

Inside the Hyperdrive SPACE is:我所用的硬碟：

RESULTS:

Ultra II 1GB (967.4MB, 1,010,272,679 bytes ) in 76 seconds (12.7 MB/s)

Before I looked inside, I heard something loose inside:

Then I found out that the little plastic thing keeps the HD in place:


*HINT: take out the battery for easier installation of the HD

I'm not going into the details of the menus, but here's a list of the major functions:
我不想花太多時間解釋細節，我只列出它的特徵
1) Allows formatting to FAT32 with Hyperdrive, so no more formatting with the computer!
不需要經過電腦格式化，Hyperdrive直接把硬碟改FAT32
2) Error Handling: the option to skip corrupt files on the CARD
記憶卡上的檔案壞掉時，可單一跳過
3) After setting the clock, Hyperdrive allows you the option to name the folders in YYMMDDHH.MMS format (which I personally find very useful)
設定時間後，可以時間當為檔案夾名稱（年年月月日日時時.分分秒）
4) Different transfer speeds for different compatibility (I tried all cards on HYPER speed and all worked fine.)
可選不同下載速度，提高機器與卡片寬容度
5) Verification: Full (bit by bit, slow but most accurate), Quick (1 every 32 data sectors), Random (full verification every 3, 7, or 16 files), or NONE
檔案確認：完整 （1比1對照），快速（32塊data中1塊確認），無規則的 （每3,6,或16個檔案做一次完整對照）或無確認
6) Hard Drive Modes: 48Bits LBA (for HDs > 128GB), 28Bits LBA (for HD's < 128GB)
Hinders Performance if set to wrong mode (so the manual says)
大於１２８ＧＢ的硬碟需要設定48Bits LBA, 小於１２８ＧＢ要設28Bits LBA (註：說明書上寫：設定錯誤會影響速度)
7) Allows for automatic copy as card is inserted
可插進記憶卡後自動開機及下載
8) Allows user to browse contents of folders and cards (folder/file name & size)
可瀏覽檔案夾訊息與大小
9) Charges off computer when connected via USB
可用電腦USB電源充電
10) Allows copying BACK to the card
可用硬碟拷貝回記憶卡

CONS (so far):缺點
1) Can't use it as a card-reader 無法以讀卡機來使用
2) Manual only available in English 說明書只有英文

Conclusion:結論：
I think the biggest advantage is the sheer speed and amount of data transferred that makes the Hyperdrive SPACE so attractive. Hyperdrive was also kind enough to provide extra screws, plug adapters, a soft pouch, car charger, AND emergency aux. AA charger. Unfortunately, there's no ability to actually see the photos. However, the ability to verify file transfer as it copies give it a degree of assurance. Finally, I recommend buying an empty case and find a HD with 8MB cache for the most bang for the buck.
我覺得Hyperdrive SPACE最大的優點是它的傳輸速度與傳輸量。Hyperdrive還包括了許多配備。很可惜的是，本機無法『看』照片。然而，下載時可啟動檔案確認是多多少少給了攝影師一種保證。最後，我覺得自己裝硬碟最划算。
