可以發現CPU單核的效能約差兩倍，但是多核效能卻也差不多。
而GPU部分Z8700有16個EU；5Y10有24個EU。

最後TDP則是Z8700 2W；5Y10 4.5W。
由此可知以Surface 3的定位來說，辦公文書、看影片與玩玩小遊戲，新的Atom x7應該是綽綽有餘。

找到 Tech Jungle 的一篇文章，特別指出 2GB RAM 版的 Surface 3 用的是 32-bit 的 Windows 8.1。
Anandtech 新聞中顯示的 2GB RAM 版用 64-bit 的 Windows 8.1 可能真是寫錯了。

T100 Chi 也有一隻選購的主動式電磁筆，與 T300 Chi 的筆是相同的，只是可能不容易買到，好像可用 Dell Venue 8 Pro 的筆代用，版上有 T300 Chi 的用戶有開相關的討論串。Venue 8 Pro 筆的感壓特性應該是不如N-trig。
2G RAM 配 32 bit 的 Win 8.1 倒是還好，Surface 3 的 2GB/64GB版也是配 32 bit 的 Win 8.1。
T100 Chi 的螢幕也不太優，對比及亮度是合格的，但是色準不行。

Z8700 的 SDP 是 2W，SDP 2W 相當於 TDP 3.5W ~ 4.0W
