1. 下載Froyo-x86 for the ViewPad 10。
2. 下載Image Writer for Windows。
3. 用Image Writer for Windows將Froyo-x86 for the ViewPad 10裝到隨身碟中。
4. 隨身碟和USB鍵盤插入ViewPad 10，開機後先進入BIOS設定，將隨身碟的優先權設為最高。
5. 使用隨身碟開機後，依照畫面指示安裝android-x86。
6. 安裝後從硬碟開機，如果看到grub指令介面，依照下面流程輸入：
grub> root (hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0xfd
grub> setup (hd0)
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage2" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5" exists... yes
Running "embed /boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0)"... 15 sectors are embedded.
succeeded
Running "install /boot/grub/stage1 (hd0) (hd0)1+15 p (hd0,0)/boot/grub/stage2
/boot/grub/grub.conf"... succeeded
Done
grub> reboot
