[詢問]Mitac M722 筆電 記憶體問題

看了官網及各大討論區

發現答案不太統一

Mitac 官網

上面連結裡 M722的規格介紹提到RAM的容量是8M-512M(也有介紹MAX192M的)雙面

問題就來了

這款NB出廠就內建64M ONBOARD

使用的晶片組是 INTEL 82440MX

INTEL 官網 440MX介紹

上面提到

Are 256Mbit SDRAMs supported?
The 440MX chipset does not support 256Mbit technology SDRAM.

128Mbit technology is supported. The 440MX chipset supports 2 slots of memory, 128MBytes in each slot, thus allowing for a total of 256MBytes of SDRAM.

There are SODIMM manufacturers building 256MByte SODIMMs using 128Mbit technology SDRAM. However, Intel has not validated these devices

內容大概是說440MX支援到MAX 256M TOTAL(2條128M)但不支援單條256M
然後是有些製造商生產,使用128M RAM 技術的 256M RAM,但INTEL 不承認

那假設64M ONBOARD+256M雙面RAM

這樣系統會抓的到嗎?

結果會是
1.開不了機
2.抓到64M
3.抓到192M
4.抓到256M
5.抓到320M(好像不太可能?)
