小弟成功下載了ipw3945-1.2.0.tgz
但是有一個小問題
要如何安裝阿 點兩 解開 我找不到exe 執行檔

對了 IPW好像FC5就有開始內建了,直接啟動就行了

I believe atheros is the best answer for linux wifi. Good performance and good driver.

This is a guide for your linux driver.
I think you could use rpm command to install this driver(type "man rpm" to check rpm command)
Note: since this driver contains different parts like kernel driver and daemon(service) etc. so let rpm do it for you!

Ps:Linux is free,so download and update to latest version(FC7 or ubuntu) are the simpest way.

It seems that you miss the ipw3945.ko file and installed rpm version before.
According to the help file, It should be here if you follow the guide:
"Once the ieee80211 subsystem is installed, we build the ipw3945.ko module:
% tar xzvf ipw3945-1.1.3.tgz
% cd ipw3945-1.1.3
% make
"
I think you may download the source files instead of binary file. You may need to build it first. The guide shows you how to do it(!It is difficult!!).
please check the guide.
RPM would be much easy if you use fc5. It is a linux version of windows MSI file.
PS:you need to download ipw3945-ucode, ipw3945d,3945 driver.
