請問如果拿 smartphone 當 GPS 會不會很麻煩呢??
如果跟 PPC 比起來的話 我該選擇哪一個好?
For Map applications I use Mapopolis, Street & Trips 2005 and desinator on my PPC (iPad H2210) and it work great and easy to use
I tried Street & Trips 2005 (smartPhone version) on my MPx200 smartphone and I was having a hard time trying to find places and navigate ...... (you need to go through menus to ZOOM in and out
)So I suggest keep your PPC for GPS .....smartphone is good but hard to get used to,....
In terms of GPS connection I believe they should have no problem (although I haven't tried with my smartphone since MPx200 don;t have bluetooth), the satellite lock required software compatibility,
for example: if you use Street & Trips, there is an update rate of 1sec (but no satellite lock)...so if you go under the tree, you'll likely require a "cold start"
which takes minutes to get signals again....
but if you use PAPAGO or Mapopolis you'll get satellite lock and you can go through tree or urban area without problems....
