Argentum: Update
As spotted in this PocketMatrix thread, Argentum has been updated to release version 1.2. The update adds the following features:
? Pocket PC 2003 support. It runs soo smooth on the new iPAQ 2215!
? Finally fixed the bug where it crashed after the tutorial
? Much better map shading code. Hills now have a highlight and shadows are much more accurate
? Custom maps can have a height texture. Documentation and tools related to this will come.
? More accurate ship shadows
? Various performance and visual bugs corrected
A note adds that "due to some changes some custom maps might look distorted. Contact the authors of these maps and tell them to make sure that the heightmap pallette is a smooth transition from black to white."
The update is now available to download at Handango, and an updated demo has also been released.
