Also, almost all nokia cell could have chinese package installed. 8001 uses the same firmware package as the 8800. However, since ur not doing a upgrade by Nokia, they probably going to void ur warranty. Give Nokia a call before this, they should be able to help u out. 8801 comes with an exclusive 2 years warranty that almost no other Nokia cell phones have. Enjoy and be proud of it.
I strongly recommend u to flash ur cell by nokia if u don't need chinese, they will even mail u a loaner phone before u mail in ur 8801
