Several BMW 3-series generations were designed by Japanese (including the current one I think). Or the previous generation of 5-series were also designed by Japanese. 怎麼沒人說因為打不過 Toyota or other Japanese manufacture 所以 "if you can't beat 'em, quit 'em and steal their talent"
I didn't see the post on Engadget, but it just shows how ignorant the original poster is (especially trying to be sarcastic).
On the other hand tho, I appreciate Nokia looking into global talent and incorporate them in their handset desgin. Nokia isn't still a number 1 for no reason.
