The Developer Certificate creation outage has been resolved and the service is ready to been re-enabled. The current demand for Developer Certificates is extremely high (tens of thousands of requests) and has the potential to cause significant site slowdown. Whilst there remains heavy demand, impacting commercial users for paid Services; Express Signed, Certified Signed, Developer Certificates will be available intermittently until the load is balanced
New Open Signed Developer Certificate request Developer Certificate requests are currently only available to users who have a Publisher Id
There are several reasons why requesting a Developer Certificate could result in a failure. Please check the following:
For Symbian OS v9, the binaries in the SIS file do not use any Phone Manufacturer approved capabilities that have not been signed for previously. Ensure that the number of IMEIs supplied in the .csr does not exceed the mandated limit. If the Developer Certificate Request (.csr) file was created using your Publisher ID, then ensure that your Publisher ID has not expired . Double click on the Publisher ID to verify this. If the .csr was generated using your Publisher ID, the correct associated Publisher ID key was supplied to DevCertCreate. The .csr was created using DevCertRequest.
