[求助]請問 2804WBPRG 的列印伺服器相容問題

這兩天從宿舍搬回家順便把在外戍守多年的Epson 5700L給搬回家
想說家裡的2804WBPRG有列印伺服器功能便興沖沖地來接接看

可是試了一下午，發現原來在宿舍正常的5700，接好後燈號就變成紅燈
本以為是電壓不穩的關係
但是在反覆測試後，發現好像只要接上2804WBPRG之後不久，燈號就會變紅

才恍然想到：「該不會不相容吧？」
上了SMC北美的網站查到了印表機相容一覽表（亞洲站還沒有這玩意兒

）
那張A4的相容機種清單中，並沒有 Epson 5700L（E牌的幾乎只列有Stylus系列）
所以還是不確定是否相容 orz

請問一下有沒有跟我一樣狀況的人？
還有如果不相容的話，有可能經由韌體升級而改善嗎？

謝謝你的建議
（居然忘記先打原廠電話了）
剛剛打過去問了
工程師查了一下，說沒列在清單上，那極可能是不支援
而且就算更新韌體，也只是更新AP的部分，列印伺服器的部分是不會動到的
也就是說，這台應該永遠無法支援我的5700了...殘念 orz

不是吧？這樣也要簽名？

其實如果網路上的機器都經常性開機的，不妨也可以考慮用印表機分享的方式來做，雖然有一點麻煩，不過最少比不能用好阿！
