*Recycle Bin: The shared-folder level recycle bin saves your deleted files in a “#recycle” folder with original file structure. This function is enabled by default and available for CIFS environment only.
*Download Station Enhancement: The BitTorrent download enhancement includes DHT support, greatly improved download performance and seeding options.
*Photo Station Enhancement: The performance of thumbnails browsing is improved. The Google AdSense, calendar-based article browsing, and sticky article are supported for blog.
*Audio Station Enhancement: The renovated drag-and-drop playlist greatly eases your music library management.
*Surveillance Station Enhancement: 2 more IP cameras are now supported: Linksys WVC54GCA (Wireless interface available) and LevelOne FCS-0010.
*Telnet/SSH Ready on management UI: Telnet and SSH terminal service are now configurable directly from the management UI. The setting will remain unchanged even after firmware upgrade.
*Polish Language Support: Polish language is now supported. This localization will also take effect on Synology Assistant, Synology Data Replicator 3, and Synology Download Redirector.
*Apache Update: Apache is now upgraded to 2.2.8.
*PHP Update: PHP is now upgraded to 5.2.6.

確認是有的！我之前已經在我的 DS107+ 上確認 Synology 是用 rtorrent 做 BT client，只是因為比較舊版，所以導致效能不彰。這次整合的新版 rtorrent，從 rtorrent 官方網站上就可得知從很早以前就支援 UDP trackers 以及 用 peer exchange 機制來得到更多的 peer...
至於你說的那個其他公司，我去他們網站看了一下，是把 BT 加密版本跟無加密版本分成兩個 firmware，這點跟 Synology 在 UI 上就可以選擇是否加密有一些不一樣...（應該加個選項就好了，不用分兩個版本)
